Who this is for

Brands prepared to commit.

NICD verification is for brands genuinely willing to design for neurological accessibility — not brands seeking differentiation without design change.

Who should not apply

Verification is not for everyone.

Cosmetonoesis reserves the right to decline applications that do not meet the intent of the NICD Standard — not only its technical thresholds.

"Commercial influence is excluded from the assessment process."

Requirements

What verification requires.

Brands must fulfil all of the following requirements to proceed with the NICD audit.

Complete Documentation

Full formulation and packaging documentation — including CPSR and PIF — compliant with applicable EU and/or UK cosmetics regulations before assessment begins.

Product Samples

Access to sufficient samples for sensory panel testing, stimulation band classification, and HGS determination across all relevant application conditions.

Panel Participation

Participation in neuro-inclusive user testing conducted by Cosmetonoesis. Panel composition and testing protocols are defined by the NICD Standard.

Registry Agreement

Agreement to public listing in the Verified Products Registry — including product name, score, HGS, stimulation band, and verification date.

Benefits

What verification enables.

For brands that genuinely commit to neuro-inclusive design, verification delivers measurable outcomes.

Reduced routine abandonment — products designed for completion are used consistently, delivering cumulative benefit for the user.

Increased consumer trust — the ADHD Friendly™ mark signals verified honesty and neurological accessibility to a systematically underserved market.

Clear communication boundaries — verification defines what can and cannot be claimed, protecting brands from inadvertent misrepresentation.

Verifiable neurological accessibility — an independently audited, publicly registered claim that differentiates on substance, not narrative.
