A future International Consortium for Neuro-Inclusive Cosmetic Design may be established to support broader governance. Until that time, Cosmetonoesis retains sole authority over the NICD Standard and the ADHD Friendly™ mark.

Verification decisions are based solely on documented evidence, panel validation, and defined thresholds.
Commercial influence, sponsorship, or promotional considerations are excluded from the assessment process by institutional policy. No product may purchase a favourable assessment outcome.
The NICD Standard is versioned and revised on a scheduled basis. Each revision is publicly issued with a version number, date, and summary of changes.
Brands holding active verification are notified of revisions and given a defined period to achieve compliance before re-audit is required.
